MV Community Services to raffle off plate MV100
OAK BLUFFS, MA (October 29, 2019) –
WHAT:
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services is hosting a raffle for the chance to win MV License Plate 100. Ticket pricing is one for $25 and five for $100. Previous low number license plates have been included in a low-number online auction series. The low number auction series has raised over $227,700 to benefit MV Community Services and other Island nonprofits through the Driving the Future Fund.
WHEN:
Raffle sales run from October 11 through December 15, 2019. Winner will be announced on Monday, December 16, 2019.
WHERE:
Raffle tickets can be purchased in Building B on the MV Community Services campus (111 Edgartown Road, Vineyard Haven, MA 02568) during regular business hours and at the Chicken Alley Thrift Store (78 Lagoon Pond Road, Vineyard Haven MA 02568).
Tickets will also be sold at various tabling events in November and during Christmas in Edgartown weekend (December 12-15, 2019). Individuals who live off-Island and are interested in participating should contact info@mvlicenseplate.com to coordinate ticket purchase.
WHY:
A fundraiser for Martha’s Vineyard Community Services and Island nonprofits that benefit youth and seniors through the Martha’s Vineyard License Plate program. A chance to obtain a unique low-numbered MV plate that can be passed down for generations to come while making a vital contribution to the Island community. 100% of proceeds are tax-deductible and benefit Martha’s Vineyard Community Services and other Island non-profits that benefit youth and seniors through the MV Community Services Driving the Future Fund.
