Wing Foiling Around Martha’s Vineyard: Support Nevin Sayre’s Personal Challenge
Join us in celebrating the completion of a truly remarkable fundraising event in support of Martha’s Vineyard Community Services! Renowned sailor Nevin Sayre successfully completed his personal challenge to Wing Foil 55 miles around the picturesque coastline of Martha’s Vineyard, finishing in an impressive time of 6 hours and 9 minutes. To cover the straight line distance, Nevin had to tack and jibe through 80-100 miles.
Many will remember the Vineyard Windsurfing Challenge that Nevin organized from 1988 to 2008 to benefit MVCS and honor his mother, Harriet Hart Sayre, a long-time member of the MVCS Board. Nevin’s incredible effort continues this tradition of community support and dedication.
