Community Members Invited to Sponsor Trees, Shrubs, and Garden Plantings on New Campus

OAK BLUFFS, MA (February 18, 2026)— Martha’s Vineyard Community Services (MVCS) is inviting members of the Island community to join its Growing to Thrive initiative by sponsoringtrees, shrubs, and garden plantings at the agency’s new campus.

As construction progresses, MVCS is focused not only on building new facilities but on cultivating a welcoming and inspiring outdoor environment designed to serve Island families for generations to come. 

“We’re excited to offer this opportunity for individuals, families, and local businesses to play a role in shaping this landscape from the roots up,” said MVCS Chief Advancement Officer Patrick Ramage.

Sponsorship opportunities available:

Flower plantings begin at $25
Shrub sponsorships are $100
Tree sponsorships are $250

Sponsors may give in their own name or in honor of a loved one, creating a living tribute that will welcome families and visitors for years to come. All sponsors will be recognized in an online listing accessible through on-campus signage with QR code links prior to the campus opening.

The Growing to Thrive initiative supports the development of MVCS’s new campus, designed to enhance accessibility, strengthen service delivery, and provide a vibrant, community-centered environment for programs that serve Islanders of all ages.
