Electronic’s Disposal Day is held twice a year, and we are always looking for extra hands to make the day go smoothly.
What is Electronic’s Disposal Day?
It is an annual fundraiser to benefit MVCS that enables people to utilize off-Island disposal in an environmentally friendly way. Community members pay anywhere from $2 – $30 to recycle old and tired air conditioners, cell phones, computers, copiers, fax machines, microwaves, lap tops etc.
Volunteer jobs include:
- Set up
- Traffic directing
- Unloading cars/trucks
- Clean up
