We continue to deliver on our promise to provide comprehensive support to Islanders from birth to older adulthood and we need your help to sustain and grow these three innovative “Causes that Count.”

The MVCS Client and Community Access Team (CCAT) provides interpretation and translation services for Islanders during individual and group counseling sessions and other community-based services. Your support of this program will help expand the capacity of this vital service.

Our recently-launched Clinical Residency Program provides housing, professional development, supervision, and licensure for masters-level clinicians who aspire to achieve clinical licensure. This program is vital to our recruitment and retention of much-needed clinicians to Martha’s Vineyard, reduces wait lists and wait times for Island Counseling Center services, and allows us to begin new behavioral health contracts with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

In 2020, we launched the 36-Month Pathway Program, which provided enhanced compensation, training, and professionalization for educators in our new Early Education & Care Center. Our goal was to recruit, retain, and elevate our educator team. We are 80% up and running and have a near- perfect desired retention rate. Help us to fund the Pathway Program into the future so we can fully staff our Center and open the Oysters (infant) Room this summer!
