“You were never created to live depressed, defeated, guilty, condemned, ashamed or unworthy. You were created to be victorious.” – Joel Osteen
The stigma of substance misuse keeps individuals from seeking treatment by creating barriers to achieving recovery. Words like “druggie” and “addict” hurt and damage one’s self-esteem and feelings of self-worth. Addiction is not a choice. It is a chronic disease similar to diabetes and heart disease.
Our team understands that no two paths to recovery are the same. We help identify the internal strengths and assets of each person and offer assistance at every juncture. Whether someone is contemplating the recovery process, considering ‘cutting-back’, or is in active recovery, we meet individuals where they are and assist each person on their path toward recovery.
