November 24, 2025, Martha’s Vineyard, MA — The organizers of Ladyfest Martha’s Vineyard are proud to announce a $25,000 contribution to CONNECT to End Violence, a program of Martha’s Vineyard Community Services (MVCS), dedicated to ending domestic and sexual violence and supporting survivors throughout the Island community.
This generous award follows an unprecedented Ladyfest weekend in October, which drew record attendance, expanded community partnerships, and raised more funds than any previous year in the event’s history.
“Ladyfest exists to uplift and empower our Island community, and we are thrilled to direct this success toward supporting the life-changing work of CONNECT to End Violence,” said Kelly Feiertag, one of Ladyfest’s founding organizers. “This gift represents the spirit of generosity and solidarity that Ladyfest is all about—bringing people together through music, art, and compassion to make a tangible impact.”
Susan Mercier, Division Director of CONNECT to End Violence, expressed deep appreciation for the gift: “This funding provides critical support for our ongoing work to end domestic and sexual violence and to ensure survivors on Martha’s Vineyard receive the compassionate help they need. Just as importantly, Ladyfest shines a powerful light on these issues, raising community awareness and breaking the silence that too often surrounds them.”
Ladyfest Martha’s Vineyard continues to grow as one of the Island’s most anticipated community celebrations, combining live music and local artistry with a mission of empowerment, equity, and giving back. Plans for Ladyfest 2026 are already underway, with organizers looking forward to another year of growth, connection, and impact.
